Tellus Volunteer photographer Nick Johnson will share his journey with astrophotography and offer tips for photographing objects in the sky in various situations and conditions. Plus enjoy the Planetarium Show: We Are Stars which follows a group of Victorian time travelers as they learn about the origins of atoms.
In the observatory enjoy solar viewing and then as it gets dark, look for the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars. Join the kids activity and practice your telescope skills with Tellus educators who will assist you in looking through a telescope and focus on various staged objects in the Great Hall.
