Ready to turn your scribbles into stories? Join local wordsmith and published author Hugh H.D. Hunter for a week of writing workshops where you'll learn how to craft tales that don't put people to sleep. Along the way, you'll rub elbows with a fun bunch of guest speakers — journalists, musicians, performers, and creative writers — all here to share their storytelling secrets. It's like a writer's roundtable, except without the table and with way more laughs.

This camp is for 11 to 14-year-olds who want to sharpen their storytelling chops and toss their creative hats into the ring. The grand finale? A Scribes Showcase where you get to strut your stuff and prove that writing isn't just about homework. The fun kicks off July 7 and runs through to the 11th, right in the heart of Atlanta.
